This cold dark night is mine.
Mine to conquer.
Mine to destroy.
Gates locked and chained.
There is no way in.
There is no way out.
It will haunt you forever.
From deep inside.
Keeping it locked away.
Forever chained to my heart.
Screaming out these tears of yesterday.
Walking in this darkness.
Lost in this void.
Trapped in this palace of misery,
I've lost where I began.

Breaking this heart of mine.
Misery has me screaming in vain.
This misery is driving me to the edge.
Standing on the edge looking down at you.
Contemplating what to do.
Looking into the darkness of the sky.
Feeling death wrapping around me.
Do I dare take the plunge?
Falling into an abyss misery.
Falling for all eternity.
Screaming out these tears of yesterday.
Walking in this darkness.
Lost in this void.
Trapped in this palace of misery,
I've lost where I began.

Feel the hurt I call upon.
Feel the pain I long no more.
Feel the void of this abyss.
Here between heaven and hell is where I am lost.
I stand alone.
I no longer understand the language you speak.
Everything is lost.
My fragile heart cursed.
Sad and dreary misery.
I've lost my young love.
Screaming out these tears of yesterday.
Walking in this darkness.
Lost in this void.
Trapped in this palace of misery,
I've lost where I began.
