Please forgive the frigid face that I wear.
It masks the pain that dwells within each pore.
You will see that I can be one who’ll care.
And nurture you until you hurt no more.

It masks the pain that dwells within each pore.
From what I can tell, you share that same glance.
And nurture you until you hurt no more
Is how I intend to start our romance.

From what I can tell, you share that same glance.
A frown that I would like to see unglued.
Is how I intend to start our romance
A technique that will restore and renew?

A frown that I would like to see unglued.
Banished from your lovely eyes and lashes.
A technique that will restore and renew
Your smile, once obscured by mental gashes.

Banished from your lovely eyes and lashes.
That is where all your sadness ought to be.
Your smile, once obscured by mental gashes.
It’s your pass to our twin sanctuaries.

That is where all your sadness ought to be.
Metamorphosed into mutual love.
It’s your pass to our twin sanctuaries.
Know that I am gentle as a white dove.

Metamorphosed into mutual love
Expressions of my feelings without shame.
Know that I am gentle as a white dove.
I know that in your heart, you are the same.

Expressions of my feelings without shame.
You will see that I can be one who’ll care.
I know that in your heart, you are the same.
Please forgive the frigid face that I wear.
