Time for the masses
To fall,
In the distance I can hear the
Ships crash against my heart.
A dismayed, sunken desperation
Coats my body.
Midnight black, no stars in sight,
The color of these roots,
The color of this warmth.
The pieces of me left
To hang on this path
In the darkness,
Having only side-smiles
Gaze upon them.
Wishful thoughts tighten
Around my neck,
Pull the lever /
Feel the fall
Dim my lights><
Forced tears
Muffled in chokes.
Emotions left alone,
Never tarnished, preserved.
Time stops for a moment,
The north heart burns brightly,
And your trail of blood
Paves my way
