Blue/Brown
------------
Little boy with eyes so blue
The world has yet been kind to you
a mom, a dad, a house and toys;
satisfaction for little boys

Little boy with deep-brown eyes
to you the world is not so nice
war and hunger, death and fear
you wish that you had someone near

Blue-eyed boy grows up to find
he never left his toys behind
a car, a phone, a bike and more
TV shows him all 'bout war

Brown eyes sees the war for real
His deep-scarred soul will never heal
Every night he kneels to pray
for the awful war to end one day

Blue-eyes knows what's happening
The TV tells him everything
There's a struggle to the east
How horrible, to say the least!

Brown-eyed boy stares at the skies
and prays once more before he dies
For his beliefs he went to fight
Now he can die in peace, by right

But not a thing has blue-eyes done
though he believes he's had some fun
He's watched TV and gone to work
like every other normal clerk

So when their final days are there
and brown meets blue with even stare
I think they both will know for sure
which one of them was really poor.
