As darkness draws nigh
I sit there, watching;
the lights, ever rolling by
twisting, dancing in the sky

And even the stars seem to smile
at being noticed, if only for a while
so I raise my hand in awe of their grace
and thus the world seems a better place

I now perceive things a different way
No longer quite as cold and grey
Instead starlit; yet a touch strange
a beautiful and silvery change

Does it make no sense at all?
Step outside when dusk begins to fall!
For the best thing of all that I tell;
the stars will be there tomorrow night as well...
