The light falls through open windows
illuminating the dust
floating aimlessly through the air
feeling not pain, nor lust
settling overall and everywhere
of it's true purpose noone knows
A velvet sheet of crimson dye
is her one and only cover
from the rays of burning light
embracing it like a lover
She cries and wishes for the night
but noone is there to hear her cry
A tear rolling down her cheek
slowly dripping to the floor
disappearing in the dust
makes her cry e'en more
unlike the tear, live she must
But she is weak, so weak
The light is almost touching now
she huddles in a corner
the last unreached by bright a day
She has been Night's sojourner
but she has made her final stay
Against the light she swears a vow
"The burning madness of the day
I shall never give in to!
I'd rather fight a hopeless fight
and still scream ´have at you!´
so you think I will leave the night?
I'd rather burn to ashes gray!"
The rays of sun, they heard her call
and seared her pale, smooth skin
still screaming out defiance
'gainst her light'll never win
but Night broke their alliance
deceiving, leaving her to fall...
