across
just under a whisper languidly wandering
saying just take tommorrow and shove it
sweep the dust under the rug
come and play with me before the rain comes
and we'll pretend that we never knew what winter was
and this'll be it
today it's you
the leaves'll fall
today it's you
my eyes catch yours
and i know i'll never say never
...so i used the websters dictionary definition... then got a little creative with it. both stanzas employ a different pattern to spell autumn. so, the first is: 1st word, 2nd word, 3rd etc... the second is alternating first word/last word... and as you see, i used word 'you' instead of 'U's'... i'm either a poet or a cheater... or maybe the definitions overlap... anyway, my explaination is longer than my poem... so on that note i'll leave you with this sentence that has no bearing on anything: i like pudding.
