we are
[the ugly ones]
the wind up toys
springs snapping
[loaded]
the lost boys

what of it
i ain't got no concentration
got asthma
got no inhaler
on air thick with
[crass]compounds]
progeny of manifest industry
american soot
black on brick
[red]where[/green]
recedes

bukkake
your girl wants to lay it down
[we want to show her]
a shower of a city boy's affection
debauchery on blonde
does she like it
or just
...know no better...

pink bismuth
placebo
can't make the burning subside
        all
[rotten questions]
      all
[levitation]
    all
[spirit in question]

i got this scrape
gonna leave a scar
gonna keep me from comfort
or sleep
3am wondering
about nothing more than
a
state
of
being
exhaust pipe approaching
your lips
wrap around
suck it like you like it
like a one track mind
like monoxide
little medicine
like getting dizzy
take some chemical
a commercial salve

slow the blood let
and ease the burning
even take pet stains up
off the carpet
rest easy

we've the energy
and the compacity
to fulfill a great potential
we've the disposition
and the appetite
to drown on sugared water

dirty needles
something better
than warm milk
to help you sleep

{sleep}

{sleep}

That was a VERY cool piece! There are so many great lines in there I can't even begin to pick just one out, but I loved the form and flow of it...really conveyed the "lost boy" theme well. Ciao, T/S

You have such a command of time and rhythm in your work. The pulse of your poems grab hold of my heart and my lungs; by the end, I have forgotten how to breath on my own.

Once again...a masterpiece of modern poetry. You are one of the few that keeps this art alive without allowing it to become a trend. This makes me want to *live*.
