I wish you’d suffocate the stars with acetone
Burn out every wish that I ever tried to create.
You always managed to cover my eyes at the glimpse of a shooting star.
&.
Your Iambic pentameter tongue speaks nothing but rhymes.

I ran my fingertips along beauty that suffocated night
While you attempted to dampen every surface with chemical intoxication
I guess you knew me better
To know I wouldn’t shield my eyes from you.

While you burned out every fragment of my being.

&.
The road curved that day while we were hanging our legs over the guardrail
It was always much easier to pretend that we were falling
Then to lift our lifeless souls and make the dive into opaquely cluttered skies
& I wish you knew it now, that all I ever wanted was your bones next to mine.

Cluttered into each other, filling the gaps between with rhymes.

We shared the empty spaces between the river docks that warm October day.
But even the breeze managed to steal precautious warmth from my slivers.
We watched people come and go, sitting on concrete walls and worn out benches.
I swear I won’t leave till the sun goes down.

&.
I watched you burn every shade of golden rain into crisp darkness.

And as I stood to turn away, you’re hand slipped into my empty spaces.
Pushing you away to run to anything that was much easier to hold onto
Fumbling while you traced my steps with glittered perfection.
And as you grabbed my waist with you intoxicating rhymes

I saw every star in the sky.

& Every ray of beauty.

& We flung our legs over the guardrails and slipped down the rocks.
Just so we could fly into cluttered skies.
Watching every bone grace each other with suffocated stardust
We folded fingertips into wings.

And while you burned out every fragment.

I watched you create every sentence.

I miss the days when we couldn't be touched. When words meant more that anything and where I really thought this was for me. =") "dampen every surface with chemical intoxication" I think this killed any sadness in me. I love you

*sighs* "We folded fingertips into wings." To be graced such a moment as this, to cherish foralways and beyond next decade's sunset...this is beautiful. ~*Beth*~

unfuckingbelievable. this owns! it's so magical, the way you describe love, with all your senses. "all I ever wanted was your bones next to mine." it's like close isnt close enough. i totally get this.
