out of sight, out of mind?
it hasn't proved true yet.

no matter how much i try to let go
you stick to the back of my brain
something always makes me think of you.

first love is like a drug,
pleasurable, but dangerous.
there's always the danger of getting hooked
(the first time)

i should have slapped her back into reality today
looking for my sympathy?

you've known him and had him all to yourself these past...
two months?
depriving me of someone i've known and loved for four years.
and you wanted me to be your shoulder to cry on?

where was mine?

at least you can say he still loves you.

(truly dangerous)
