everything's (not) gonna be alright anymore
there's something terribly wrong on the spaces (the pauses) in between my breaths
something terribly wrong with how easily i crumbled in your arms
now you don't even bother to call anymore
but it's not like i have the right to expect you to.
because sometimes i expect too much
i thought that maybe i was right to expect something more that these
dark colors
after giving all my light away
but that was 'used to be'
i need to not give so much for my nothing in return
i need to just give up, move on, let go
of this
nothing
that you owe to me.
naively i gave myself to you and wanted your love
in return
do you think that's asking too much?
