musical notes laced with soft flames
tells of a story with an abundance of names
this midnight sky wouldn't lie when it said
your heart was held tight and for him it was bled

happens to all but it happens to one
so when it found you it sought to stun
turns a voice into truth that settles upon ledges
of the cliffs of your soul with the softest of edges
induced by the death of previous mistrusts
arms are left open not expected to rust

a door found too stubborn is finally shattered
the remnants of doubt left trampled and tattered
the breath from another breathes life into you
revitalized in colors of the warmest hue

Reading this was an undeniable pleasure. I seemed to luxuriate in the rich and utterly absorbing imagery, yet could not evade the mesmerising but woeful emotion. Absolutely wonderful. ~*~ Rose ~*~
