Calm now
No fear, No anger
right now i dont even mind my own presence,
intrusive as it is.

Drained and empty
not content, but something akin
Just.....existing
in balance

with myself
with the cosmos
with my pen
with the energy all around me

I've bled enough poison
from my mind and heart tonight
I will sleep untroubled
I will go on awhile longer

This camels back, now a few straws lighter
sighs in relative ease
breaking point staved off with words
one last drag od the cigarette left
and then rest, for the demons are silent

For Now

this was smooth and tranquil...sometimes all we have are the moments when we are at ease with ourselves. a momentary reprieve from our own demons...i really like this one, nicely done ~kristy
