Lost in darkness again,
its lovers caress,
now a strangling grasp,

drowning in my self made sorrows,
a new light appears in the dark
another seeming to torment me

but the light grows,
an angel steps into view..
the aura of her purity banishing the dark

I reach out to her,
She holds out her hand,
An odd pair, this angel and a demon.

We spread our wings,
One set of feather
the other of leather

Away we fly
Graceful together
Wrapped in our contentment

What's so "blah" about this? I love it! "one set of feather, the other of leather". the union of this odd couple. very original, meaningful.

..the hushed saddeness of the beginning makes the ending even more radiant. Nicely done Devon.
