you create
me from nothing really blank canvas
like magic ink flows with time
this drawing is all wrong though
its filled with misconceptions

you believe the world is meant
to break our hearts but really
our sadness means nothing
not while you're here
to protect

this is what you thought the first time
we met eyes smiled
