Columbine Eyes

~ Instant Insanity ~

Well I normally don’t write dark poetry like this too often but, I got to reading about the Cause and Effect of Columbine and thought I would look through their eyes for a minute or three. Bet Y’all will like this one:-D ][ ][

Set and Cry,
I wonder why,
They do this shit to me,

Wait and bleed,
They will see,
They’ll pay for doing this to me,

Reminiscing War,
I’ll Even the Score,
They’ll regret these things you see

Loading these guns,
Just for fun,
Counting down to the minute, I’ll make them plead,

This Darker Side,
I cannot hide,
As I walk in, they start to flea,

A Ringing Sound,
They Barrows ring out,
Maybe now they’ll Remember Me

I hear them cry,
Screaming Why,
Similar sounds I recall in my dreams,

The gun by my hip,
As I empty the clip,
Making my goal complete,

I drop to my knees,
My pain starts to release,
As I turn the gun on me,

Author’s Commentary
Vernon – I thought this came out rather nice. I liked the flow I used on this piece. It was short and fast:-)

The thing I that I hated the most, after, of course, the pointless deaths, were the places other people, like the parents of the boys, and the media at the time, tried to place the blame. First it was the students, who picked on them. Than it was the mu
