Sweet seasoned tears
coated her eyes that day
a swollen slippery mess
the nile came crashing
down her puffed cheeks
slowly drenching her garments
and flooding the floor around her
petals of a rose glide
down to the ground to
greet the ever so growing nile
-these tears were wept for you-
She loves me...
She loves me not...
She loves me...
She loves me not...
....She loves me
She......loves me not....
-these petals crumble for you-
as she is submerged in
a warm sea salty water
the stem of the desolate rose
floats to the top of the water
to dance with renewed life
as the girl is left to the depths
of the sea
