the sky-streamed with light blues and purples
the sun-giving off a glow just as it sets
above the solid horizon-radiant bright
a shallow cliff next to the ocean-roaring
waves crashing against the rocks below
clouds spread across the sky
like an angel expanding her wings
and takes flight-little swirls of pink
aerial ardor fluttering amidst our heads
rhapsodic waves of air blow by
sending fervor goosebumbs down our skin

in the wake of our heart's beat
rises a full moon
sparkling sanity upon its influence
setting soundlessly in the sky
its presence evident-knowing our thoughts
seeking an atmosphere-unlike our daily distaste
scorchlight stars-like floating philosophies
pitch ridden luminance-everything gleaming
we are touched by the nights charm-
entrancing us with its flirtatious breezes
adrift, our memories leave within the passing essences
romance-enchantment...endless discoveries
even when alone-we are one with our senses
attractions to the dew dropped grass blades-
speaking to us with their new found beauty
and the rapid ocean-gliding upon its waves casualties

and then, as the water beckons
us to come taste its fruitless spirit
a hypnotizing splendor tricks us
into feeling weak without the
water's fresh salted dew
stings upon broken flesh-if not too careful
the bank laid covered in glistening
white sand-beating aurora like a star
warm squishes between our toes
as we make our way to the edge of eternity
stoicism speaks softly to the wind
letting it spread and carry afar
toss the days qualms aside
and feel spared of the burdens on your shoulders
stretching your arms out and feel the
breeze gush past you
as though you were standing on the bow of the Titanic
you fall back into my arms
just to know that I am still there

as the night falls upon us you exhale in closure
submitting to a silence that tastes of reflection
and shiver in the darkening gusts of wind-
stars rise as our chest falls from breaths of release
and in this moment all is clear and relevant
standing upon these remnants of repression
traveling paths of secretive whispers
randomly falling apart/ foundation destroyed-
nothing holds sacred in the beloved eyes of midnight
frailty falls to pieces-idol hands...
now occupied by noiseless friction
between presence, and passing
momentum stalled in times of disposition
and let the warm, brisk night depart
with our minds still intact-drift now, relentless
giving in to the breathless effects of moonlight

This piece reminds me of why I love both of you...romantic and wistful...I could get lost in this for hours on end. Beautiful collaboration, you two. Probably the best I've seen. This will definitely be a favorite of mine for a while.
