The things I want in life
Are of the reflections in the water
When I go to touch it
It ripples and fades away
Only then to reappear
To toy and taunt with my head
For then again I try to touch it
It ripples and fades away
Sometimes it's laughing at me
And at times it would glare
I would still try to touch it
But it ripples and fades away
Everyday I would sit for hours
Staring at the reflection in the water
I reach out my hand and try to touch it
But it ripples and fades away
When I look in the mirror I see a hideous face
And a beautiful girl in the water
I desperately try to touch it
But it ripples and fades away
