Got to slow down,
I’m movin' too fast.
Have to sit and spit.
This, to ponder the past.

Layed down pennies,
will make up my path.
The rainbow is rising,

AND THE BELLS IN THE CHURCH RING...

Hitting the streets,
Tim Horton's in hand.
Runnin down homeless,
for supply and demand.

Punching the clock,
ten minutes too late.
The pressure is mounting,

AND THE MIME ON THE STREETS SING…

Home for dinner.
Hear the words she said.
A time for the wife.
Lust a moment in bed.

Closing my eyes.
Look out at my lids.
I fall into the night,

AND THE CLOWNS IN MY DREAMS SAY…

Ticks of the clock,
Are years of strife.
In this grand package,
that is labeled your life.

Hours have passed.
All thoughts put to rest.;
Peace comes in deep sleep.

AND GOD’S VOICE BRINGS THE NEW DAY…

"Tim Horton's in hand. Runnin down homeless" good good line.
