You see her everyday.
Trapped in your envy,
you hate her.
Never knowing her,
Never giving her the chance she deserves.
We all see her,
but we never really know her.
Too blinded by her perfection.
You know her,
she's the girl that has everything.
She's smart,
beautiful,
loved,
envied.
You know her.
We all know her.
Only we don't,
we only think we know her.
She smiles and laughs.
She has the perfect life with the perfect family.
The perfect hair,
the perfect teeth,
the perfect boyfriend.
Oh, we know her all right.
She's everything we wish we could be.
She's going somewhere,
she has poise,
direction.
She has everything.
But what's this?
A tiny, little girl curled up in a ball in the corner.
That's not the girl who has everything.
A single tear runs down her red, flushed cheek.
She hurries into a bathroom stall,
and there you stand,
mortified.
Where's you idol now?
Sitting on the floor of a filthy bathroom,
crying.
"So,"
you think,
"she's human afterall."
You leave the bathroom,
washing your hands of it,
feeling satisfied.
Afterall,
she's the girl who has nothing,
what can you do?
