I thought you were my friends,
but friends don't do what you did.
Friends don't cause such pain,
when they joke and kid.

I've always been there for them,
listening when I didn't want to.
Offering my love, my home,
Helping them get through.

Caring when I didn't have to,
offering guidance when I could.
Always being a call away,
anything I could do, I would.

I can't believe you would hurt me,
with your stupid little game.
This is what I get for being a good friend?
I thought you would be the same.

Couldn't you see I was already hurting,
when my life seemed to fall apart?
But even through that I was there for you,
offering what was left of my heart.

I hope you're all really satisfied,
now who do you have to care?
I thought you guys were my friends,
but your "joke" was truly unfair.

I thought you were there when I needed you,
but now I question why.
Friends will always be there for you,
and friends don't make you cry.

I really thought you were my friends,
and you'd never steer me wrong.
But sometimes you open your eyes to see,
that what you thought was wrong.
