I'm slowly shutting down this time,
there's not much left to see.
It's finally winding down for good.
I'm not all I used to be.

I'm really shutting down this time,
I swear to you, I am.
Things have gotten so far off.
There's no more emotion to cram.

I'm slowly running low on fuel,
to keep this party going.
I've been deprived for way too long,
and the feelings have just stopped growing.

I'm coming to the end of the line,
and it's time to get off this train.
I've spent too much time within these walls.
Too much time surviving in pain.

It's time to make every second count,
for there aren't that many more.
I've had my fill, I'm giving up,
I'm making my way to the door.

I'm afraid I'm shutting down this time,
and this time will be for good.
Close all windows, stop all programs,
if I could change things, you know I would.

It's time to close the casket now,
please fetch me my best gown.
Everything is coming to an end,
and now I'm shutting down.
