Eraser dust,
lying on my desk.
I brush it away

My feelings,
weighing on your heart.
You brush them away.

Eraser dust,
worn down from what it once was.
You replace it.

My love,
barely faltering,
but you replace it.

Eraser dust,
left on the floor.
unnoticed.

My heart,
left cold and alone,
unnoticed.
