You were the light,
shinning in my sky,
now you're the reason,
to wish I could die.

You were my fortune,
making everything grand.
You were my future,
with a golden band.

You were my dream,
showing me the way.
You were my savior,
keeping evil at bay.

Now you're the mistake,
ripping into my heart,
you are the end,
no longer the start.

Now you're the nightmare,
installing a fear.
You are the cause,
to shed one last tear.

You, the silver lining,
of my cloud in the sky.
Now just the darkness,
that shadows my cry.
