Under the light of the moon,
We moved as one,
We showed affection,
We had some fun.

Under the light of the moon,
We spent time with our friends,
We laughed and had a good time,
We conformed to the formal trend.

Under the light of the moon,
We stayed until well in the night,
We bowled and ate free food,
We held each other so tight.

Under the light of the moon,
We enjoyed the company of each other,
We had our very first prom,
We made memories to last forever.
