Don't look at my disgrace
see not my puffy eyes
look away to something brighter
ignore my whimpering cries

Release me from your grip
walk away as I fall to the ground
don't look back as I lie there
don't hear my disheartening sound

Leave me alone in this world
to curl up in my own little ball
to bleed away the sadness
to continue life at a crawl

Do not gaze upon me again,
you said your last goodbyes
leave me here to stain my soul
with my eternal onyx cries.
