To bad she didn’t see it
To bad she couldn’t fight
To bad she stood and took it
She was too young, it wasn’t right
She never tried to stop him
She took it as it came
Looks of only confusion
It was all just the same
She heard these words before
It was another replay
It was a natural part of her life
It had to have been ok
It’s our little secret
As he pressed against her skin
Say a word to no one
Or your life will come to an end
She ran into the bathroom
And locked herself in
While the tears ran down her
Young and tattered skin
Had she maybe deserved this
She didn’t quite understand
Could she have done something wrong?
To receive this reprimand
The four words echoed inside her
Taunting her inside
Four little words that being heard
Made her fall, breakdown and cry
It’s our little secret
As he pressed against her skin
Say a word to no one
Or your life will come to an end.
