Sometimes it’s so hard to sit there and follow all the rules
And sometimes it’s hard to do what I’m told and go to school
And sometimes I wonder why I go off and live the life I lead
And I often can’t make sense of anything I dream
So why do I sit here and listen to all their lies
And listen to the bullshit they feed
I don’t now why I live this life,
This life that I don’t need
We sought to change the world from the beginning of time
Took control of others and punished those out of line
And we took things for granted by making rules to live
Got so caught up with our selves, we forgot why we started in the end
So why do I sit here and listen to all their lies
And listen to the bullshit they feed
I don’t now why I live this life,
This life that I don’t need
Now everyone is searching for a way to stay upon his or her own feet
Everyone is searching for a rope of hope to get out of the hole they dug to deep
And nowhere can you find, a man made up of any sense
No way can you back track life to erase all the bad things that grew immense
So why do I sit here and listen to all their lies
And listen to the bullshit they feed
I don’t now why I live this life,
This life that I don’t need
So I take a step back or two
Can you tell me what’s the perfect life for you?
Can you breath in and breath out and then make sense of it all?
Tell me Mr. know-it-all do you even have a clue?
