Don’t tell me how your life is grand
How you enjoy everything being given right to your hand
How you like walking on egg shells all day long
With your eyes wide shut while everyone pushes you along
Don’t tell me that you lived your life
Because you lived with out dealing with strife
Don’t ever say that you’ve done it all
When you take so many precautions so you can’t fall
Because if you would only take a closer look
You would see there’s much more to life then what’s in your book
I want to live to thee extreme
I want to give life a new meaning
I want to say that I have done it all
I want to say that I’m not afraid to fall
And there you laugh because I’m unlike you
While you sit on your cushion that’s stuck like glue
And here you think life is great
Because you’ve already planed out your fate
Yet I look at you, so naïve
If you only knew what life could be
If you could only face what I have done
You would be singing an entirely new song
And so I feel regret for you
Life is so much more, if you only knew….
I want to live to the extreme
I want to give life a new meaning
I want to say that I’ve done it all
I want to say I’m not afraid to fall.
