It's time to build the wall again,
Build it brick by brick.
This time I'll make it twice as strong,
And build it twice as thick.

Barricade the emotions I have,
Bury them deep inside.
Hidden where no one can see,
Where pain and agony reside.

Hide them away from the world,
So no one will ever know.
The hurting that I hold inside,
And never ever show.

I sacrifice myself,
Each and every day.
Keeping what I feel inside,
And keep the tears at bay.

For it's all my fault
That I'm so weak.
For allowing you to touch my heart,
And give it a little tweak.

You never asked me to love you,
I did that on my own.
Now I pay the piper,
Now that I'm alone.

It's time to build the wall again,
Make it stronger than before.
Make sure that no one can get thru,
And hurt me anymore.
