Gazing at your face last night,
The glow from the T.V. illuminating your features,
I thought to myself,
That you were the most beautiful man,
I'd ever seen.

Running my fingers through your soft beard,
Examining your brow, the profile of your nose,
the curve of your lips, the texture of your skin,
I saw not a flaw, but perfection.

I knew then, at that exact moment,
That I was the luckiest woman in the world,
That you chose me to hold in your arms,
and I could feel myself glowing
With the love I feel for you.

You will never need to wonder
Who cares for you,
Because, I do.
