"My Reflection" by Lady_Ahz

Sitting on a mountain top,
Not a soul in sight.
I felt a tapping on my shoulder,
It gave me quite a fright.

I turned around and looked about,
To see what I could see.
I expected to see a stranger there,
Instead I saw a reflection of me.

It felt a little odd, staring at myself,
Wondering what it's all about.
Wondering how I could see myself,
And I felt a little doubt.

I cocked my head and took a look,
As my reflection did the same.
"Holy Shit!", I thought to myself,
"I think I'm going insane!"

I took myself, hand in hand,
To see if I was real.
My hands were warm against my own,
This was way beyond surreal.

I grabbed myself and held me tight,
And then tighter, and tighter still.
Till our bodies started to merge,
And us both became one will.

I found the me I thought I'd lost,
And brought her back within.
Now, myself is whole... Complete...
And I'm setting out to win....
