A ghostly image haunts my past
Of love once known, but didn't last.
I long to make, my ghost more real,
To love, to have, to kiss, to feel.
There are times when it is near,
It brings back memories, that I hold dear.

A ghostly image, haunts my mind,
Light carresses, makes love go blind.
Gentle wisps of air, tickle my ear,
It whispers that there is nothing to fear.
I feel warm, safe, within his embrace,
I will follow anywhere, through time & Space.

A ghostly image, haunts my heart.
I feel as though I'll break apart.
I see him in my mind so clearly
I want him, need him, very dearly.
Alas, my ghost is but a thought
Of one I had, but now have not.

A ghostly image haunts my soul,
Without him there, I don't feel whole.
He left his mark upon my being
He did this all, without me seeing.
My ghost, my ghost, come back to me,
My ghost, sweetheart, come set me free.
