I sit on the couch, and watch T.V.
Watching what I wish, could be.
Where boy meets girl, they run away,
When trouble arises, they save the day.
And, of course, the ending is happy.

They make these movies, for people like me,
Of how we wish real life, to be.
To live, to learn, be who we are,
To love, to laugh, to travel far.
Leave boredom behind, experience fantasy.

But these things, are just to see.
Amuse our minds, but no reality.
The things we watch, they are not real,
They never show, how we really feel.
That is the wonderful world, of T.V.
