       I - The Sun

I stand outside, my arms raised high
My face uplifted, towards the sky.
I feel the sun upon my face,
I feel the warmth of it's embrace.
I give my thanks, and bow my head.
My energy rushes, My soul is fed.

     II - The Wind

I stand outside, upon a hill,
The rush of wind, is such a thrill.
The wind is wild, the wind is free.
Deep down inside, the wind is me.
I close my eyes, enjoy it's touch
It calms, it soothes, it does so much.

     III - The Earth

I love to walk barefoot, upon the ground,
My senses take in all, that is around.
The scent of flowers, the buzz of bees,
The grains of sand, the ocean seas.
The Earth is natural, the Earth is good.
That is what I strive to be, as I should.

     IV - The Moon

I sit and watch the moon at night,
When full moon comes, it shines so bright.
I sometimes sit and gaze with awe,
Of the beauty that encompasses all.
My mind Is open, I do see clear.
That which I believe in, is always near.

That was beautiful. Truly. Sometimes it's nice to appreciate the small things. That things we're usually too jaded to notice. xo

nicley written, nature is a nice break from all of these intense poems. like the sun of spring shining down after a particularly harsh winter. thank you. this poem was soft, flowing and pretty.
