I walk inside,
This hollow tower.
To gather strength,
To gather power.
The tower's walls
are made of stone.
My footsteps echo off them,
Assure me, that I'm alone.
The walls, they seem
To talk to me.
Of what has past,
Of what may be.
They whisper of
My hopes, my fears.
They guarantee my safety,
If any danger does appear.
To retreat within,
To cry and weep.
Know that I am safe inside,
To dream, to sleep.
This hollow tower,
With it's cold, stone walls.
Will keep me safe, in it's embrace,
When the tears of Heaven, fall.
