Shadow of a broken heart,
Lying on the floor.
The well of goodness, all dried up
For tears are shed no more.

Black rose here, black rose there,
Petals scattered round.
Bitter fragrance in the air,
Love no more is found.

Tortured soul cries out in pain,
It falls upon deaf ears.
The world is lost, dead, forgotten,
The worst of all the fears.

Black rose here, black rose there,
Petals scattered round.
Bitter fragrance in the air,
Love no more is found.

Lovely...I like the way you say "love no more" instead of "no more love" it's so much more poetic!! This is a wonderful piece; it really says something. ~Faerie~
