Hopes and Dreams
Are broke apart,
When love knocks on,
A shattered heart.

You tell your tale,
And bare your soul.
To be taken as you are,
To be welcome as a whole.

But then, reality strikes!
Shattered pieces on the floor.
What hopes you have,
You have no more.

No hopes, no dreams,
No ray of light.
No heart, no soul,
No sweet goodnight.

With Broken hearts,
And Shattered dreams.
Nothing will ever
Be as it seems.
