We arrived here late one night,
Tired and ready for bed.
But we were in for a big surprise,
Our "friendly" T.I. said.
We were taken to our new home,
Big and looking bare.
We learned that we would treat it,
With tender, loving care.

We soon learned to love it.
And our new-found friends as well.
We clearly were a family,
As time would always tell.

The days draw to a close now,
Soon we'll all be gone.
We'll all have a new beginning,
Like the day at dawn.

We'll remember our happy moments,
As well as our little fights.
We'll remember our silent times,
And the long talk at nights.

We'll remember the tears we cried,
When we lost a friend,
Remember how we counted days?
Thinking it would never end.

The end is now near,
We've made it through the test,
We're confident in ourselves,
That we're the very best.

It's really nice that you can take something that most people wouldn't really think could be put into poetry, and do so. Points!
