Welcome to my ball;
The party of posers.
Glue on a smile, a smirk, or a tear,
and come on in.
Just don't try,
to rain on my
masquerade.

Don't rain on my
masquerade.
These social chains that wrap around my
neck, hands, feet, waist.
Are mine.
I conform when and where i want.
Layered in hot topic, american eagle, and L.L. Bean clothing,
you know you dress to the occasion.

When entering,
watch your step.
don't trip the wire,
watch out for "true" punks, hippies, artists, and/or preps.
define them?
...define you.

Welcome to my ball;
the party of posers.
Glue on a smile, a smirk, or a tear,
and come on in.
Just don't try,
to rain on my
masquerade.

P.S.
Define yourself.
Worry not about she/he/it next to you.
You've got bigger problems.
