If only i could stop.
I never meant to start.
But I needed something real.
To thaw out my artic heart.

Like a frozen strawberry,
waiting to be eaten.
I sat inside myself,
my spirit obviously beaten.

You told me i was nothing.
And maybe that was true.
All i wanted was to get away,
far, far away from you.

But then he came to me.
He held me tight and helped me see.
I was special,
and i was wanted.
For a first.
For only.
By him.

He thaws my out.
He makes me feel.
Without him i'm all alone,
and with him i feel so incredibly real.

Though i may be a frozen strawberry,
for him i preserve my taste.
For he's the only one who can defrost me,
and does it without haste.
