Elasticity-
Electric mind pulled apart
I'm surging
I'm falling
To eventually spring back up.

Twisting, I,
Look through the window
Half you, half me,
Depends how I focus
Touch fingertips
Through cold
Thin walls
I'm falling
To eventually spring back up.

Days seem like hours
Hours like years
But it's all so fast...
I am on the train
I am on the horse
Looking through windows
Or maybe just tinted bottles-
Either way you're skewed.

Beads on the ceiling
Everyone is pulling
Their chance at glory.
This carnival-
Everyone is so strung out
Holding to the drunkards
To eventually spring back up.

Sparkles of
Blues, greens, browns
Randomize,
Collage-
On fluorescent flashes
Vision skews through wet windows.

I have passed them,
But, to be a passerby, I
Have simply left them
To collect dust until it rains.

Like Las Vegas on paper
I thread the needles
Pretend to pull strings
I am the only one
Who catches the flicker.

Is this the indifference I'm searching for?
Or white labelled answers?
I'll give you my signature, sure
I'll laugh across the table at jokes that aren't funny.
I will, your honor, strive toward a better me-
"Complacency"...

Electricity-
I, the Typhoid Mary of the scene
Somewhere
I know
There's vibrance
Now, to remember where i left it.

I'm tearing through the wires
With a
Tick...
Tick...
(silence)
They all look the same
Colorblind

(I'm not really color blind)

Are these...
Dead wires?
Dead dreams?
I could get light from a damn potato
But you say
"Run for the defensive
Allow them to test you,
Sweet Christ,
Don't forget-
-Codewords-
-This is important-
-Remember-
Just Breathe."
-----------------------------------------------
With much humbleness I award thee-
Floodmaster of Greasy Lake,
Cornelius,
Cantankerous nickelendiming kirk,
Infamous Motherfuckin' Captain of beautifully Fun persuasions,
My sometimes spurt of manically strange inspiration,
This is my poem to you.

_let me just say that i never usually intrude on tributes that have nothing to do with me...i have suspended that way of thinking for this poem alone.
