Standing in a sea, I'm drowning
Drowning in my own self loathing
My Plexi walls are paper thin
My only walls that won't cave in
Buckled knees leave me off my feet
So the water and my lungs can meet
I can greet it with a smile
Laugh or die, stay awhile.

Swimming in Moonlight, I'm frozen
Beauty materializes itself, dime a dozen
Sacred lips aren't so sacred
When one's euphoria is confescated
Hesitated, life's lesson learned
So many a candle, not to burn
Yearn to make you smile
Laugh or die, please stay awhile.

Lying all alone, i'm callow
Swollen throat, nothing swallowed
Apathy closes in, around
Nothing shattered, nothing sound
Bound hands make it hard to crawl
Assume no movement, none at all
Now I'll take life by the mile
Laugh or Die, I'll stay awhile.

Sprawled upon the floor, I'm weary
Overlooking deep sincerety
All the walls that i've put up
Are long overdue their time to rot
Throw your life away, my dear
We share this chorus every year
Now there's nothing left to fear
Laugh or Die, I'll stay right here.

This poem is not in it's original form, that is to say, i was taking one stanza and making an entirely different more kick ass poem on impulse... that is, until i went to post it and low and behold i wasn't logged on anymore? Blah. Anyways, this is what i peiced from memory.
