we've come too Far to fall

screaming up into the gray sky
can you hear me above the hate cloud?
or is each teary drop
knocking all my words
back down to the ground?
soaking into the grass
drying up
my voice fading
thunder drowning me out

The title is perfectly fitting...I'm coming to like all of these shorter poems...who ever said a short poem couldn't have just as much feeling as a longer, more elaborated one?
