Vincent's Prophecy

The tides have turned, the moon gone red
All now living will soon be dead
The true enemy will now arise
Nothing but malice lieing in his eyes
He knows not love, he knows not pain
For only power he seeks to obtain
Occupant of the crystal black
Will rise again and attack
Murder is to be his first sin
He will slaughter his own kin
Those once loyal to the fires of Purgatory
Will become the worst enemies in this story
Fate's eyes now blind to the destiny of the first
She shant see the future at its worst
The power of the Gods now dwiddled by more then nine
Three more soliders will join the Gods' front line
The one most beloved by all
In the end he shall fall
Beware those that knew him best
For their power they will surpass and test
Beware the dark one who shall melt the ice
Though in the end he will pay the price
For destroying that which was good and pure
Will be a crime creation won't endure
Fear not for Death, for he will not be taken by his power
But half of Life will die within the destined hour
Prince of Darkness, Prince of Light
They alone hold the power to save the Gods from their plight
But the cost may prove to be quite steep
For in the end, one of their own they may not be allowed to keep
Though the future seems to come undone
The battle may yet be won
For these words are not written in stone
Together the Gods can hold their own
Trust your allies, trust each other
For creation is your mother
Her alliegence rest with you
Despite all you are to be put through
Fast approaches the final setting of the sun
The design has been fulfilled...but the Apocolypse has just begun

A prophetic character - umm, humble opinion: I think it might work better if his rhythm was less "choppy." Most prophesies (I've read) flow easily ... I couldn't figure out the rhythm to this.

Wow, Ashley this was really provocative, a curious potrayal of good and evil, the eternal struggle played out in verse beautifully. Wonderful read, much enjoyed, I usually don't like rhyme, you pulled it of nicely! ~b :)
