From the depths it comes
A priceless rarity

Words so sacred and true
Never meant for any but you

To jaded to fall prey to it
With its shiny veneer

Time made it habit
A patterned behavior

Feelings forever concealed
Never revealed
In deeds or words

Just me and the wind
On this starry night
The wind will keep my secret
My precious words to you
