The time is now for realisation
tearful thoughts and resignation,
quite possibly an altercation
Or perhaps I'll walk away...

I'm sure you'll think it's fabrication
my hurt and pain hallucination
if you can't see my soul's deflation
there's nothing left to say.

I honoured you with adulation
spoke loving praise in conversation
Defending you, no reservation
But mine is not your way.

So do I speak, have confrontation
or hide away in desperation?
There's nothing worse than separation,
but it's happening today.

Glad to see you back, nice rhyme style. You make "seperation" sound peaceful or at least that was how i read it.

woohoo, a new posting from you! *dances about and bumps into things* Powerfully effective melancholic almost-resignation in that final line; and the title rocks too. Great write!
