upon the slanted
horizon

rests
a mosaic mortuary
of mind-boggling memories

insulating
intoxicated insolent
insight
blinding beauty
with barbed beams of
burnt breaths

obstructing obvious
overviewed optimism

smearing
screams smoothly
across silently siphoned
slumbers
singed

with...

simmering syrup
spiked with slices of
spoiled sin
