running away
to a new place hidden within
covering my tracks
using the broom of breath
sweeping sight
underneath clear doormats
damp and devouring
denials tears excreting tears

shadowing plush boundaries
occasionally overstepped
without even thinking

accidents happen

i'm detonating tripwired
traps camoflauged by chameleon tarps
acting as perches for
leafveinedarts

sniping platoons
of prim and proper soldiers
on the hunt for
substantial evidence implanted
in books

subliminally prepping brainwashed minds
washed of their brains forever

eroding common sense
catapulting arrows of rejection
paralyzing winterapid
breezes that melt extremely fast
gliding along corrupted
choppy tides

putting them all to sleep with the fishes

except for me
here i am alone
reading into vibes
warcries of tribes
that have grown
on lifes tree

swaying lifelessly
in this warped well falling apart
as bricks decieve
roots blinking below shattered skies
suturing lame cuts
made deep

blistering selfishly
completed as stone struck tones start
to finally bereave
for mourning souls once binded ties
broken within ruts
eternal sleep

crying from eyes blinded
infuriated by teasing octaves
dancing to the beat made
by eardrums beating down hides
of shapeshifters

i have become sidewinded
in these cast off skin gloves
that eventually will fade
as does the truth in little lies
told by veinsplitters

i think it's time
to recycle thoughts in the rain
before this stom passes
the only chance to make things right
refusing to climb
into myself as i slip down lifes drain
reunited with masses
of abducted memories afraid to fight

but it's not that i'm.....

not afraid to lose
a little blood enticing my tounge
giving me a taste
of revenge ordered the actions
to leave another bruise
upon helpless cries that badly sprung
from below the waste
of stolen smiles and other distractions

inches away
i share the final breath
with another orphaned teardrop
walking these streets of scorching gloom

making it all so clear

now i will join
my last decoy of myself
awaiting for death to bloom
in planter boxes of uncovered scenes

littering the floor with inexcusable dreams
as splintered shards anticipate what really seems
to instantly silence my screams

only in my dreams

"i'm detonating tripwired traps camoflauged by chameleon tarps acting as perches for leafveinedarts " stellar imagery here..and vivid , yet chaotic blizzards of colour...all folded into a series of dizzying moods.. I loved it! thank you!

"i think it's time to recycle thoughts in the rain before this stom passes" Splendid rhyme scheme; love the synchopated meter & the 'detonating tripwired' imagery.

"i'm detonating tripwired traps" ... this whole stanza is particularly impressive, and i love the concluding rhymequartet. Wonderful, distinctive style as always; a delight to immerse in.

"Putting them all to sleep with the fishes." For some reason that line stuck with me. Along with "Sniping platoons of prim and proper soldiers." A lovely piece of work. :)
